Malaysia 44 or 50.

Kemerdekaan Sarawak......

Sarawak was under Brunei Sultanate dalam abad yang ke 16 and Sarawak was divided into district governed by PANGERANS.,the representatives of the sultan of Brunei.
Pada awal abad yang ke 17 berlaku pemberontakan yang berpunca daripada kepincangangan pentadbiran dan ketidakpuasan hati kpd sistem pencukaian.

Perjuangan kemerdekaan Sarawak bermula sejak pemberontakan keaatas Kesultanan Brunei.Wakil Sultan Brunei dalam tahun 1839,Pangeran Muda Hashim telah meminta pertolongan Pengembara English yang bernama James Brooke.

Following James Brooke's success in thwarting the insurgency,he was appointed the governor of Sarawak on 24th september 1841.

James Brooke merupakan the first "RAJAH OF SARAWAK"..(1846 to 1868),when Sarawak gained independence from Brunei.Charles Brooke succeded James Brooke and Sarawak came under British Rule and a British adviser was appointed in 1888.

1941...Sarawak was under Japanese invasion.
With the Japanese surrender at the end of world war 11,Sarawak was placed under British Military Administration till 1946 when it became a British Crown Colony.
Sir Charles Arden was appointed as the first Governor.

ERA MALAYSIA....

.....the formation of the Federation of Malaysia comprising the MALAY FEDERATED STATES ,SINGAPORE,SABAH, SARAWAK AND BRUNEI was proposed in 1961 by YM TUANKU ABDUL RAHMAN AL HAJ.Pada awal penubuhan Malaysia terdapat sedikit penentangan dari rakyat -rakyat negeri sabah dan sarawak termasuk brunei.
Cobbold commision was set up to seek the views of the people regarding the proposal.

FINDINGS......70% favoured the FORMATION OF MALAYSIA. This prompted Britain to announce the FORMATION OF MALAYSIA on 31ST AUGUST 1963....INSPITE STRONG OPPOSITION FROM INDONESIA AND PHILLIPINES. The second inquiry also reported that the people generally favoured the formation of Malaysia...this lead to official declaration of the formation of Malaysia on 16th september 1963.

Kat surat khabar di Sarawak dan percakapan di kedai kopi dan surau banyak mempertikai Kemerdekaan Malaysia ke 44 atau 5o.

Saya fikir hari kemerdekaan memang patut ke 50(kemerdekaan federated of malay states) .......Hari Malaysia sepatutnya 44 tahun. HARI MERDEKA DAN HARI MALAYSIA ADALAH DUA HARI YANG BERBEZA...

Ada yang argue ...memberi contoh independence day of America...Hawai pun turut merayai hari yang sama tanpa banyak soal......sedangkan hawai joined USA sangat lambat.

After all...soal ini REMEH TEMEH SAJA......yang pentingnya PENGISIAN DAN PENGERTIAN HARI MERDEKA ITU SENDIRI......Are we really merdeka?

Best fairy tales

THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST FAIRY TALES ... EVER.
YOU'VE GOT TO READ IT!

Once upon a time, and far, far away, lived a beautiful Queen with voluptuous breasts. Nick the Dragon Slayer knew that the penalty for his desire would be death should he try to touch them. One day Nick revealed his secret desire to his colleague, Horatio the Physician, who was the King's chief doctor. Horatio the Physician exclaimed that he could arrange for Nick the Dragon Slayer to more than just satisfy his desire, but it would cost
him 1000 gold coins to arrange it.

Without pause, Nick the Dragon Slayer readily agreed to the scheme.

The next day, Horatio the Physician made a batch of itching powder and poured a little bit into the Queen's brassiere while she bathed. Soon after she dressed, the itching commenced and grew intense.

Upon being summoned to the Royal Chambers to address this incident, Horatio the Physician informed the King and Queen that only a special saliva, if applied for four hours, would cure this type of itch, and that tests had shown that only the saliva of Nick the Dragon Slayer would work as the antidote to cure the itch.

The King quickly summoned Nick the Dragon Slayer. Horatio the Physician then slipped Nick the Dragon Slayer the antidote for the itching powder, which he quickly put into his mouth, and for the next four hours, Nick worked passionately on the Queen's voluptuous
and magnificent breasts. The Queen's itching was eventually relieved, and Nick the Dragon Slayer left satisfied and hailed as a hero.

Upon returning to his chamber, Nick the Dragon Slayer found Horatio the Physician demanding his payment of 1,000 gold coins. With his obsession now satisfied, Nick the Dragon Slayer couldn't have cared less and, knowing that Horatio the Physician could never report this matter to the King, with a laugh just told him to get lost.

The next day, Horatio the Physician slipped a massive dose of the same itching powder into the King's underwear. The King immediately summoned Nick the Dragon Slayer.

The morals of the story - PAY YOUR BILLS.,

-JANGAN BUAT JANJI PALSU

-jANGAN TIPU ORANG..

Jom belajar A B C..

The Geriatric Alphabet...

A is for apple, and B is for boat,
That used to be right, but now it won't float!
Age before beauty is what we once said,
But let's be a bit more realistic instead
.

A's for arthritis;
B's the bad back,
C's the chest pains,
perhaps car-d-iac?

D is for dental decay and decline,
E is for eyesight, can't read that top line!
F is for fissures and fluid retention,
G is for gas which I'd rather not mention.

H is high blood pressure--I'd rather it low;
I is for incisions with scars you can show.
J is for joints, out of socket, won't mend,
K is for knees that crack when they bend.

L is for libido, what happened to sex?
M is for memory, I forget what comes next.
N is neuralgia, in nerves way down low;
O is for osteo, the bones that don't grow!

P is for prescriptions, I have quite a few,
just give me a pill and I'll be good as new!
Q is for queasy, is it fatal or flu?
R is for reflux, one meal turns to two.

S is for sleepless nights, counting my fears,
T is for Tinnitus; there's bells in my ears!
U is for urinary; big troubles with flow;
V is for vertigo, that's "dizzy," you know.

W is for worry, NOW what's going 'round?
X is for X ray, and what might be found.
Y is another year I'm left here behind,
Z is for zest that I still have-- in my mind.

I've survived all the symptoms, my body's deployed,
And I am keeping twenty-six doctors fully employed!!!

risk

Who Is At Risk for a Heart Attack?

Certain risk factors make it more likely that you will develop coronary artery disease (CAD) and have a heart attack. Some risk factors for heart attack can be controlled, while others can't.

Major risk factors for heart attack that you can control include:

Risk factors that you can't change include:

  • Age. Risk increases for men older than 45 years and for women older than 55 years (or after menopause).
  • Family history of early CAD. Your risk increases if your father or a brother was diagnosed with CAD before 55 years of age, or if your mother or a sister was diagnosed with CAD before 65 years of age.

Certain CAD risk factors tend to occur together. When they do, it’s called metabolic syndrome. In general, a person with metabolic syndrome is twice as likely to develop heart disease and five times as likely to develop diabetes as someone without metabolic syndrome.

Reducing the risk of heart attack usually means making healthy lifestyle choices. You also may need treatment for medical conditions that raise your risk.

Healthy Lifestyle Choices

Healthy lifestyle choices to help prevent heart attack include:

  • Following a low-fat diet rich in fruits and vegetables. Pay careful attention to the amounts and types of fat in your diet. Lower your salt intake. These changes can help lower high blood pressure and high blood cholesterol.
  • Losing weight if you’re overweight or obese.
  • Quitting smoking.
  • Doing physical activity to improve heart fitness. Ask your doctor how much and what kinds of physical activity are safe for you.

Treat Related Conditions

In addition to making lifestyle changes, you can help prevent heart attacks by treating conditions you have that make a heart attack more likely:

  • High blood cholesterol. You may need medicine to lower your cholesterol if diet and exercise aren’t enough.
  • High blood pressure. You may need medicine to keep your blood pressure under control.
  • Diabetes (high blood sugar).
  • If you have diabetes, control your blood sugar levels through diet and physical activity (as your doctor recommends). If needed, take medicine as prescribed.

..Time bomb ...

After a heart attack, you will need close follow-up.......

  • Coronary heart disease is a chronic (ongoing, long-term), progressive condition. Macam "time Bomb"....anytime boleh berulang....2nd attack could be FATAL.

  • Changing your risk factors only slows its pace. ...ini mungkin memberi "false hope"...and compromise your quality of life...

  • Angioplasty or bypass surgery only alleviates the symptoms and is not a cure.Jgn perasan bahawa anda dah sihat....
  • The disease may recur and progress.

Your Doctor will watch you carefully for the following developments:

  • Any new symptoms or signs of disease progression through clinical evaluation, physical examination, and periodic ECGs or stress tests

  • Silent ischemia by periodic treadmill or radionuclide stress tests or stress echocardiography

He or she will also manage the following aspects of your treatment and recovery:

  • Risk factor management by checking blood pressure and cholesterol levels periodically

  • Adjustment of medicines and management of their side effects

Apa itu Angio and stenting.?

Angioplasty: Emergency coronary angiography and coronary balloon angioplasty (percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty, or PTCA) are available in hospitals equipped with a full-service cardiac catheterization laboratory. This is the most direct method of removing blockage in a coronary artery.

  • Coronary balloon angioplasty is an extension of coronary angiography.

  • A long, thin tube (catheter) is inserted in an artery in the groin or arm.

  • At the tip of the catheter is a tiny, elongated balloon, which is threaded over a hair-thin guidewire into the narrowed coronary artery.

  • Once the balloon is positioned at the blockage in the coronary artery, it is inflated.

  • The balloon pushes aside the plaque and clot that are blocking the artery, allowing blood to flow more freely.

  • The balloon is then deflated and removed with the catheter.

Stenting:

A stent is a small, metal springlike device that may be inserted into a coronary artery after balloon angioplasty.

After the catheter and balloon are removed, the stent stays in place, holding the artery open.

A stent is better than angioplasty alone at keeping the artery from narrowing again.
