Berfikiran Positiflah :~ 1.

Unity..perpaduan..integrasi...

Image
When we talk of unity, let us remember that unity does not mean uniformity. It does not mean that we should look alike, eat alike, dress alike. It does not mean that we should not have any differences in opinions. This is diversity, not disunity. Unity does not mean negation of diversity. Diversity is good; disunity is bad. Diversity is a mercy; disunity is a curse. Unity can be achieved with diversity. Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, “You shall not enter Paradise until you have faith, and you shall not attain faith until you love each other. Should I tell you something that if you do, you shall love each other? Spread salam among you” (Reported by Muslim). Unity means the unity of purpose and goal. United people are diverse people, but their purpose and goal is one and the same. They must remain conscious of their purpose and goal, and all their efforts must be directed to that purpose. When people of d...

Email dari kawan..kita kongsi bersama.... I pushed people away while wanting to correct them I used to exhibit a certain reactionary pattern that seemed to arise whenever I entered a Masjid or Muslim gathering. It was this pesky little habit of immediately taking in my surroundings and making a mental note of everything wrong that I could perceive. I turned from one unknowing victim to another, ticking off all of the Islamic violations they were committing according to my personal pedestal of judgment. “She is not wearing Hijab, tsk! tsk!” “He is laughing with that woman who is most certainly not his wife or family member, shame!” “How can she possibly show up here with her clothing so tight?! Scandalous!” “Does his mom see how he is behaving…where is the Islamic upbringing? That’s what happens when you send your kid to public school!” And the list went on and on. Upon acknowledging the “sin” of others, I would begin to plan how I would correct them. Then one day after becoming aware...

Belajar mendengar...

Learn to listen, just as you learn to speak IF a person starts telling you, whether in private or public, something that you already knew very well, pretend as if you do not know it. Do not rush to reveal your knowledge or to interfere with the speech. Instead, show your attention and concentration. Imam Ata Bin Abi Rabah said: “A young man would tell me something that I may have heard before he was born. Nevertheless, I would listen to him as if I had never heard it before.” Ata was a Tabi’ee, i.e. the one belonging to the generation coming after the Companions. Khalid Bin Safwan Al-Tamimi, who frequented the courts of two Caliphs, Umar Bin Abdul Aziz and Hisham Bin Abdul Malik, said: “If a person tells you something you have heard before, or news that you already learned, do not interrupt him to exhibit your knowledge to those present. This is being rude and ill-mannered.” Ibrahim Bin Al-Junaid said: “A wise man said to his son: ‘Learn the art of listening as you learn the ...

to think about...

To Think About! * We walk around looking at our phone, waiting for that text message or phone call. Yet we never look at the Quran for many days or even months. * We love to talk about anything let it be even the weather but when one person says, Allah said or his ,Messenger (SAW) said, we try to quickly change the subject. * We see on TV, the internet and around us people dying but yet we imagine we are going to live forever. * We plan and plan but none of our plans include seeking Jannah. * We run around all day doing favors for our friends and our loved ones but we barely ever do anything to please the lord of the worlds. So we have to ask ourselves this: * What do we really value? * Do you value this short cheap world? * Do you value the new phone you have? When was the last time we sat by ourselves and cried thinking about our ending? How many times did we ever imagine the Day of Judgment and our fate? Allah shows us how serious it is. Allah describ...

her way..or..no way

Recieved this write up from my friend Bronk...interesting.. This is quite interesting. .... (To women) Please take time to ponder..... (To men) Just enjoy the story....... Young King Arthur was ambushed and imprisoned by the monarch of a neighboring kingdom.. The monarch could have killed him but was moved by Arthur's youth and ideals. So, the monarch offered him his freedom, as long as he could answer a very difficult question. Arthur would have a year to figure out the answer and, if after a year, he still had no answer, he would be put to death. The question was: What do women really want? Such a question would perplex even the most knowledgeable man. And to young Arthur, it seemed an impossible query. But, since it was better than death, he accepted the monarch's proposition to have an answer by year's end. He returned to his kingdom and began to poll everyone: the princess, the priests, the wise men, and even the court jester. He spoke with everyone, but no one could g...

Rasul Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “If somebody reproaches you and makes you feel ashamed of any of your defects, do not make him feel ashamed of any of his defects.” [Abu Daud] Usually, when somebody points out one of our shortcomings, we immediately become defensive and start finding faults with them. But the advice of our beloved Rasul Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam), is that we should listen quietly and evaluate what we are being told. If there is something we can improve about ourselves, it is only to our own ... See Moreadvantage to do so. If the criticism is unjustified, then we are rewarded for our patience and good behaviour in not retaliating. The angels will take care of defending our honour. Starting a counter attack opens the door for Shaytaan to come in and take over. Once Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddiq (radi Allahu anhu) was sitting with the Prophet (sal allahu alaihi wa sallam) when a man came and started to abuse Hazrat Abu Bakr. Hazrat Abu Bakr remained silen...

Its ok not to be alright

Image
You can never tell what people are thinking and feeling unless they tell you, and usually they lie. You ask them, ‘whats wrong?’ and they say ‘nothing’. You accept this because it’s easier than digging for the truth. People smile when they want to cry, they laugh when they want to scream and shout. They pretend like nothing is wrong because they don’t want to face the truth. Things aren’t always rainbows and butterflies, sometimes you gotta scream and cry your anger and sadness to the world, because you can only hold it in for so long before something in you snaps. So when you want to cry, cry. When you want to scream, scream. Don’t hide behind fake smiles, it’s okay to not be alright.

looking for mistakes....mencari keaiban orang..

Image
Artikel oleh Sheikh Salman utk kita kongsi bersama..... Looking for Mistakes |Sheikh Salman al-Oadah| When it becomes a person’s habit to look for the mistakes of others, he becomes sensitized to them and attracts them to himself like a magnet. This is a tendency found in the school environment, even in kindergarten, and in society as a whole. It stems from an error in aim and intent and a tendency for a person to think he has the right to declare what is correct and what is mistaken and then go overboard in observing and keeping tabs on others, waiting to pounce on any error. This tendency in a person is often compounded by a false perception of the inherent rightness of what he is doing. Overlooking people’s mistakes is not a sign of stupidity or simple-mindedness. Nor does it mean a tacit approval of their mistakes. Someone who concurs with the mistakes of others is no more a person of discernment than one who actively seeks out their mistakes. A person of discretion is one who ...

.......topeng.............

Black Testicles A male patient is lying in bed in the hospital, wearing an oxygen mask over his mouth and nose, still heavily sedated from a difficult four hour surgical procedure A young student nurse appears to give him a partial sponge bath. Nurse,' he mumbles, from behind the mask 'Are my testicles black?' Embarrassed, the young nurse replies 'I don't know,Sir. I'm only here to wash your upper body.' He struggles to ask again, 'Nurse, are my testicles black?' Concerned that he may elevate his vitals from worry about his testicles, she overcomes her embarrassment and sheepishly pulls back the covers. She raises his gown, holds his penis in one hand and his testicles in the other, lifting and moving them around and around gently. Then, she takes a close look and says, 'No sir, they aren't and I assure you, there's nothing wrong with them, Sir !!' The man pulls off his oxygen mask, smiles at her and says very slowly, 'T...

A very meaningful article indeed, to share...... Adultery happens when you start looking for what you don't have. "Wow, this girl in my office is a real looker. I'm crazy about her because she's also understanding, intelligent, tender - so many things that my spouse is not." Somewhere along the way, you'll find a woman or a man who will be more charming or sensitive. More alluring. More thoughtful. Richer. Have greater sex appeal. And you will find a woman or man who will need you and pursue you and go loco over you more than your spouse ever did. Because no wife or husband is perfect. Because a spouse will only have 90% of what you're looking for. So adultery takes place when a husband or wife looks for the missing 10%. Let's say your wife is melancholic by nature. You may find yourself drawn to the pretty clerk who has a cherry daughter. Or because your wife is a homebody in slippers and pyjamas, smelli...
Taib Leaves It To PBB To Decide Whether He Should Still Lead Party BETONG, Oct 5 (Bernama) -- Sarawak Chief Minister Tan Sri Abdul Taib Mahmud said he would leave it to Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) to decide whether he should retain his post of president at the next party general assembly. Taib, 73, said as one who was loyal to the party, he could not make the decision himself as the party's struggle was his priority. "I have stated openly that I could step down (as PBB president) anytime, but the party asked me to wait first, so I've left it to the party to decide," he said when simultaneously opening the meetings of the PBB branches at the Datuk Amar Tan Sri Stephen Kalong Ningkan's Sports Hall, here, on Monday. Taib, who is also state Finance Minister and Planning and Resource Management Minister, said the Sarawak Barisan Nasional (BN) had always made leadership transformation and this was proven by the fielding of 25 per cent new faces as candidates i...
